Purpose

The primary purpose of Journey College Ministry is to foster a disciple-making culture among the students of the three campuses that we serve (UT Tyler, TJC and Texas College).  We want to see college students come to know Jesus Christ deeper than they ever have, know His Word and then help them put feet to their faith as they share what Christ has done for them with others.

What does Journey do?

Sunday mornings at 9:00am we worship together in Resonate Worship, and sit in front of the sound booth in the center of the auditorium.

Sunday Mornings at 10:30 we have small group bible studies led by amazing adult volunteers! We meet in The Basement of the Chapel! It’s the best place to build community, meet people and study God’s Word! We serve a free lunch after our small groups in The Gathering Hall!

Summer Tuesday Nights! Come to Blake Arrington’s house for dinner and Bible study at 6:30pm. We are learning to lead! Come eat, fellowship and study in a small group atmosphere! Email Blake for the address!

Tuesday Night Worship -  During the school year, come to The Basement at 7pm in the same space as Sunday morning for fellowship! Our goal is to have community by discussing challenges from God’s Word and have a time of prayer in small groups. It’s a great opportunity to meet and be encouraged by other Christian college students walking through their Journey with the Lord!

We share God’s love and the message He has given us on campus with our friends, those we sit near in class and those the Father leads us to.

We go places all over the world to share the Good News that Jesus offers us with a world who does not yet know Him. For specific opportunities, come be a part of our family.
